Aircraft Mechanics at work


In the course of your training, you will learn step by step the procedures for checking, servicing and repairing a fully functioning helicopter. The maintenance work is carried out in a targeted manner in strict compliance with the specifications laid down by the manufacturers and the legislators (EASA). During this time, you will also learn, among other things, to work under pressure, and with your efforts will play an important role in guaranteeing flight safety.


General requirements

  • EASA Part-66 B2 licence
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems/avionics
  • Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
  • EDP skills
  • Driving licence, category B

Personal requirements

  • Flexibility
  • Ability to work in a team, loyalty
  • Sense of responsibility/readiness to assume responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure, both physically and mentally
  • Helpfulness and flexibility, idealism and high level of motivation, absolute reliability
  • Willingness to do call-out duty (at night, at weekends and on public holidays)
  • Initiative
  • Ability to work independently
  • Place of residence: max. 60 minutes from the place of work at the Rega Center, Zurich Airport
