Daniel Landert is in charge of the Jet Operations division. This is responsible for advising patients abroad, as well as organising and carrying out repatriations back to Switzerland. The staff of the Jet Operations division run the round-the-clock Jet Operations Center together with the Medical Advisory Service. 

 

Curriculum vitae, Daniel Landert

Daniel Landert was born on 19 July 1972 in Adliswil (Canton Zurich). After an apprenticeship as a structural draughtsman and completing vocational secondary school, he graduated as an architect from the University of Applied Sciences in Winterthur. Subsequently, he trained as an airline pilot and completed further studies in management, including at the International Institute for Management Development IMD in Lausanne.

From 1999 to 2002, Daniel Landert worked as an airline pilot with Swissair. He then spent five years at Edelweiss Air and 10 years at Swiss International Air Lines as pilot on the Airbus A320, A330, A340 and A220. In addition, he worked as a simulator instructor and was in charge of human factor training at Swiss. In 2013, Daniel Landert changed to flight operations at Swiss International Air Lines as Deputy Head of Flight Operations. Subsequently, at Swiss Global Air Lines, he was appointed initially as Deputy and then as Nominated Person Flight Operation.

In 2018, Daniel Landert joined the Management Board at Edelweiss Air as Chief Operating Officer. As Accountable Manager, he was responsible for the entire flight operations, while at the same time working part-time as airline commander on the Airbus A320. In May 2022, he moved to Rega as designated Head of Jet Operations and commander on the Challenger 650.

Since 1 June 2023, Daniel Landert has been a member of the Management Board and Head of Jet Operations at Rega.

He is married and has three children.
