As Head of the Communication and Patronage division, Karin Hörhager looks after the flow of information between Rega, its patrons and the general public. The Patronage Centre records the necessary personal data of all its patrons and answers urgent questions personally. The Information and Media department is responsible for all internal and external means of communication, ranging from the newsletter to press releases to the Rega magazine 1414. The Communication and Patronage division also comprises the teams Marketing, Guided Tours and Events, Donations and Legacies, and Assistance and Care Service.
Curriculum vitae, Karin Hörhager
Karin Hörhager was born on 11 February 1976. After studying geography at the University of Zurich, she completed a second Masters degree course in Business Communications at the Zürcher Fachhochschule (ZFH).
In the course of over 10 years, Karin Hörhager gained in-depth experience in various branches and functions. Having worked for several years in journalism during her university studies, after graduating she decided to focus on business communications.
Between 2003 and 2009, Karin Hörhager was responsible for projects and media relations at Swiss Ice Hockey SIHA. In 2010, she changed to Mammut Sports Group AG, where she was in charge, among other things, of the “150 Years Mammut” project. In 2012, her career path led her to Rega, where she headed up the Information and Media department.
Karin Hörhager was appointed Head of Rega’s Communication and Patronage division in January 2016 and is a member of the Management Board.
