To mark Rega’s 70th anniversary, we are opening the hangar door and invite you to celebrate with us on Saturday, 22 October 2022, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We organise this event in cooperation with our partner Héli-Alpes SA.

Take a close-up look at Rega’s rescue helicopter and ambulance jet, get an insight into the hangar with fascinating information and demonstrations, and find out first-hand about the everyday life of a Rega crew.

The following activities are on the programme:

• Discovery of the H145 five-bladed rescue helicopter, the AgustaWestland Da Vinci rescue helicopter, the Rega drone and the Challenger 650 ambulance aircraft.
• Entertainment for children (face painting, balloons, drawing).
• Bouncy castle
• Photo box
• Exhibition of model helicopters
• Catering

The helicopter company Héli-Alpes SA also offers a variety of exciting activities. For example, you can book panoramic flights. If you prefer to stay on the ground, you can take a look at the different helicopters of Héli-Alpes. Discover for example the Bell 429 and its medical equipment, the Ecureuil AS350 and the new Bell 505. The flight school with its Cabri G2 helicopter will also be represented. The pilots and flight assistants of Héli-Alpes SA will be pleased to present their activities such as load transport and fire fighting.

Parking places are available at the airport. Shuttle buses will take you from Sion railway station/car park to Rega base Sion and back.
