Avionics technician – Job description

The word “avionics” is made up of the terms “aviation” and “electronics”. Avionics technicians are responsible for the entire electrical inner workings of an aircraft. They ensure, among other things, that the electronic systems on board – such as the communication, navigation and autopilot equipment – as well as the power supply function perfectly, repair and service complex avionic components and cable harnesses, and simulate technical environmental conditions.
