With fourteen bases throughout the country, Rega provides basic medical care from the air around the clock. By the end of 2026, all rescue helicopters currently in service will be replaced by 21 new Airbus H145 D3 helicopters. We are following this major project in several stages and giving you an exclusive behind-the-scenes look in our videos. In this episode, we look back on a mission carried out by the Geneva crew for a young patient. We also dedicate this episode to the retired rescue helicopter ‘HB-ZEN’, which was replaced by a brand-new Airbus H145 D3 in June 2025.
